Pure water used in laboratories and research institutions is usually divided into three levels: Grade I water is reagent grade ultrapure water, Grade II water is analytical grade water, and Grade III water is ordinary experimental water. Specific technical parameters are detailed in Table 1 Table 1 Technical parameters of pure water used in experiments Measurement parameters of pollutants in water: Grade I water, Grade II water, Grade III water Ionic resistivity (M Ω• cm)>18.0>1.0>0.05 Organic TOC (ppb)<10<50<200 Pyrogen (Eu/ml)<0.03<0.25-- Particle size>0.2 units/ml<1---- Colloidal Silica (ppb)<10<100<1000 Bacterial Cfu/ml<1<100<1000 Suzhou Huanke Pharmaceutical Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. customizes pure water equipment according to different customer experimental project requirements. If the water used for molecular biology experiments, tissue culture, chemical analysis, and instrument testing is grade I, grade II water is generally used for microbial culture medium preparation, buffer solution preparation, dissolution experiments, biochemical reagent preparation, etc. Grade III water is usually used as the inlet water for steam sterilization and other equipment, and can also be used as cleaning water. The service life of pure water equipment is closely related to water quality and daily maintenance. Poor water quality and lack of attention to cleaning and maintenance in daily life can worsen and shorten the service life of pure water equipment. Bacterial film is easily generated on the surface of the water tank and RO membrane in pure water equipment, which can cause problems in the operation of the pure water equipment preparation system, such as membrane blockage, increased internal pressure, system leakage, and damage to the booster pump; The biofilm can also block the RO membrane, making it unable to function properly. The methods for preventing and controlling bacterial biofilm include regularly disinfecting RO membranes; Regularly clean the water tank; Timely replace consumables, regardless of the amount of water used. Consumables immersed in water inevitably form bacterial films. During use, it is necessary to replace consumables of pure water equipment according to the situation in a timely manner to avoid the formation of bacterial films and achieve the best state of pure water equipment, maintaining high consistency of experimental results under low pollution background. *Suzhou Huanke will customize equipment solutions with different process requirements for different customer URS. |
